As a DJ, producer, and entrepreneur, he currently strives to bridge the gap between Tokyo and New York. Gekokujo is an ancient Japanese term, keyed from the Kamakura period (Samurai era- 1300’s), as the lower being overcomes the hierarchy. Munari’s life style portrays the true Gekokujo story of the 21st century, as he also started from scratch, but gradually made his way up.
